The development of Leslie’s character absolutely caught me off guard. She was shaping up to be an integral part of Peters life both within and outside of his newly discovered world, so I just don’t think I expected for her to have that happen. That said, I like that no one is really untouchable, a bit like Game of Thrones in that respect.
ROL reminds me of Jasper Ffordes The Eyre Affair which I read a while back, and that was similar in the fact that I engaged with the characters pretty early on, and because of the pace I couldn’t help but pick up the whole series, the humour was similar too.
I will drop a message after I’ve one the next book/s as it all has me very intrigued.
I have voted for August and have everything crossed. I’m drawn to one more than the other but will give either a go.

I really enjoyed the book and I do plan to continue with the 2nd one.I guess you are right, it is a bit like GoT in that respect! Thank you so much for voting for August! Personally, I became a big fan of Isabel Allende after reading 'Paula' so I've voted for 'The Infinite Plan' but I really want to read the other book as well, so I'm happy either way:)
